Leading Returning Citizens (LRC, Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is run by Returning
Citizens. We have been there and encountered the very same obstacles you are facing. We know the difficulties of successfully reentering society. We have integrated Leadership, Success, Honesty, Balance, Community, Responsibility, Amends and Healing as values needed for success. We serve with compassion and kindness. Our approach to reentering is experience based.
We are focused solely on the individual needs of each Returning Citizen. We want to break the cycle. All of us have different needs. We encounter varied barriers upon release. While housing may be an issue for one person – it may not be for another. Finding a job that will allow you to support your family may be an issue for some, while restoration of family relationships will be a priority need of others. Yet, finding the support of someone who understands the emotions of a long timer being released may be an issue for many. The LRC, Inc. staff is uniquely dedicated on assisting you in meeting your individual needs.
MISSION
Leading Returning Citizens (LRC, Inc.) is an organization dedicated to reducing recidivism by assisting Returning Citizens with the tools needed for successful reintegration to society. We envision a country where Returning Citizens have access to all the tools necessary for successful reintegration to society without discrimination.
